Last week’s newsletter began the S.P.R.I.N.G. series of ideas to build
your business NOW so your business doesn’t dry out over the summer.
If you missed last week’s article where I taught the Schedule Concept
(S), visit

This week, I’ll share the P…for Post Concept
If you’re a gardener, you know how important posts are:
- You post signs next to the seeds so you know what to expect
- You place posts in the ground for a fence so the animals don’t eat your plants
You see that in the first instance, I use post as a verb. I love verbs
because they mean action. The second idea uses post as a noun. Here’s
the TWIST for my home party plan friends so you can SPRING ahead of
the summer months with posts.
Post the following this week:
- Your phone number on your e-mail signature so customers can CALL you
- Post a flyer about your company or opportunity in a local business
- A daily status on your Facebook or Twitter account about how you’re
using your product. This is not a post asking for business, rather a
post making people THIRSTY for the product you’re talking about. In
fact, you don’t even have to say it is something in your product line.
Believe me….people will ask about it!
- Names and phone numbers of people you’ve promised to call this month. Remember, when a customer
gives you her contact information, it is implied permission to contact her, and you’re giving an implied promise that you will. Keep your
promise! This is one way to overcome Phone Phobias…have the info readily available to take action.
- Next, place posts on your calendar. Remember the gardener who puts posts in the ground, you can put posts
on your calendar to protect your family from infringes from our business. My friends used to make fun of me for writing “Date Night
with Bob” (Mr. Lemon Aid, my husband), on Friday nights. They told me I was too busy if I had to make an appointment with my husband. On the
contrary…I put him there so I made sure nothing else was put into those precious hours
Likewise, place posts on the time you’ll work in your business be it holding parties, contacting customers, or recruiting new consultants. If you don’t make time to do these
all-critical and FUN business tasks, you’ll be making excuses for not accomplishing them
And, one way to have some fun is to use some Post IT® Notes!
This idea can also be such a fun TEAM MEETING!! Use the info in this article and ask people to bring their
favorite Post it notes….or box of Post cereal…or an earring with a
post in it….you get the idea. The most important thing is to teach
them the Post Concept of Springing Forward.
Next week I’ll share ideas for the “R” in S.P.R.I.N.G.
Be sure to forward this article and invite your team and other friends to become a Lemon Aid subscriber.
